1. GSRD (Early) Spring Social
Tuesday February 27
7:00pm – 9:00pm for Tiger’s Pictionary!
Sister Ida Know from the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence hosts weekly Pictionary night at Number One on 5th in Hillcrest. Let’s gather there around 7:00, Pictionary starts at 7:30. It’s an easy way to socialize while having some fun entertainment as well!
Fundraising for this evening will be donated to the charity of our choice! Proceeds will go to TASHRA (The Alternative Sexualities Health Research Alliance) an organization that we feel strongly about and that aligns with the vision of our group. TASHRA is “dedicated to improve the mental and physical health of adults who participate in consensual erotic practices and lifestyles like Kink/BDSM”. They achieve this mission by conducting important research and providing professional training in a variety of topics relating to erotic diversity. To learn more about TASHRA, go to www.tashra.org
2. A return to House of Black!
Friday, May 3rd
1:00 – 3:00pm.
This was such a hit for the past couple of years that we’re coordinating another “Dungeon Tour for Mental Health Professionals” event at the House of Black with the owner, Fae Black. This event includes a Question and Answer session with Fae.
3. Pride Volunteering
We will be tabling inside the Leather Realm at the San Diego PRIDE festival again in 2024, providing mental health resources to our community. And we will host an after party for all who volunteer.
San Diego PRIDE: July 20 and 21. Our table is located inside the Leather Realm. This is a great opportunity for those of us who work with members of the kink/BDSM/fetish community to let them know we are here for them. If this sounds like your jam, please sign up for a 2 or 3 hour shift to help with tabling at the event and to help with set up or tear down (the sign-up sheet will be provided when it gets closer to the event date).
After party: Thursday, August 1 from 5:30pm-7:30pm. Location TBD.
Since our group is primarily for socializing we realized that folks who sign up for shifts during PRIDE don’t have much opportunity to network amongst ourselves. So, we will provide a time and space to meet up afterward (and give us time to recoup our energy after a weekend at PRIDE!)
4. GSRD Fall Event: Potluck in the Park

Spend an afternoon enjoying good food and good company. We’ll have a sign-up sheet for the potluck when it gets closer to the event so we don’t end up with only desserts…
